“Submission,” Titus 2:1-15, 3:1-2

This our third week in the book of Titus, which is a practical guide to be one body with many members, a practical guide to belonging to one another, a practical guide to be the church. In many ways Titus teaches us how to move from I, me and mine to we, us and ours. In Titus, Paul talks about three topics more than any others, self-control, sound doctrine and good works.  Self-control is about our connection with God…Sound doctrine is about how we live…These two are built and sustained within communion. They are built in relationships where every part of the body belongs to each other…In this week’s sermon, Pastor Abie Kulynych talks about another theme that Paul mentioned in Titus just as much, “Submission,” what it is and what it means to us, the body of Christ.
