“We Have the Holy Spirit: He Empowers Our Witness” Acts 1-2

Last week we talked about the identity of the Spirit-filled, that the Holy Spirit is a person, that He is God, that He is another Helper, which means that He is just like Jesus and He lives in everyone who believes in Him. Jesus taught us that there would be specific things that the Holy Spirit would do in us, that He would guide us in all truth, that He would speak only that which He hears, that He would tell us of things to come and that He would at all time and in all ways glorify Jesus. It is important to note that these are things that define our relationship with the Holy Spirit. These are the things that mark us as the Spirit-filled.

In the next few weeks, Pastor Abie Kulynych will discuss the 4 things that the Spirit-filled, Spirit-led will always be led into: The Holy Spirit Empowers Our Witness, He Builds Our Character, He Performs Signs and Wonders and He Creates Community. In this week’s sermon, he starts with “The Holy Spirit Empowers Our Witness.”
