“We Have the Holy Spirit: He Builds Our Character,” Acts 2:40-47, Hebrews 12:1-2

In the last three weeks we’ve been talking about the reality that we have the Holy Spirit. He is not something we try to get hold of. We have the Holy Spirit because Jesus said,  “If you are in me the Holy Spirit will come and live with you and will live in you.” So if you are in Christ, the Holy Spirit is in you. It is a given and yet for a lot of us it is foreign. It is a truth that we know but it is not a reality that we are living in. As the body of Christ, if we really have to be effective in our walk, we’ve got to learn what is to live in the Holy Spirit, which means we have to learn the reality of Him living in us.

In this week’s sermon, Pastor Abie Kulynych  speaks about the second work of the Holy Spirit in our lives, “The Holy Spirit Builds Our Character.”
