We are currently in a time of transition. These times can appear daunting from a distance but I believe that all of our transitions have great purpose, they are not random or caused by the actions of others, they are a part of God’s ordering of our steps. This time of transition is a time of Sabbath for us as a people, a time to reflect upon God’s goodness, rest in our dependence upon God’s grace and to experience the rebirth that comes from God’s merciful pruning. I pray that this season will be filled with joy, with the voice of God and with a greater devotion to obedience than we have ever experienced before!
