We need to learn the truth of the person of the Holy Spirit. The truth about our relationship to the Holy Spirit. The truth about Jesus’ relationship with the Holy Spirit. The person who lives within us. We need to slow down and let the Scriptures speak and not run past what we think we already know. Jesus prepared the disciples for His departure by promising the coming of the Spirit. God created us to join Him in the relationship He has with Himself. That is what fellowship is, it is entering into relationship with each other. This morning I am praying for a divine awareness of the reality of the Spirit that lives within us. That the One who hovered over the waters lives within our hearts. That the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead, lives in us. That we would not only be aware, but that we would understand the purpose of the Holy Spirit.
