I’m excited to share that a new men’s Bible study will begin at Tabernacle Baptist Church on Saturday, October 1st at 10am and will continue on the first Saturday of each month. The entire study will focus around Genesis 3:9, “Then the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, ‘Where are you?'” We will concentrate on what it truly means to have been created in the image of God, born into sin and then redeemed to once again be conformed to the image of Jesus. This Bible Study is being opened up to all of the men of our community and invitations are being sent to all of the community churches, it is our prayer that this will become an opportunity for the men who live in Burlington and who attend churches in Burlington to grow in Christ’s image, to fellowship together as the Body of Christ and to reach out to our community in the love of Christ. The leadership at Tabernacle is facilitating and hosting the Bible study and the concept of “Adam, where are you?” is something that God has first birthed in their hearts and they have asked me to teach the study every month and have given full freedom to develop and lead the curriculum as the Holy Spirit leads. For the men of CORF, please plan on coming out and becoming a part of this group, I believe strongly that God is bringing forth this opportunity for the men of the Body of Christ in this community to see His character and to surrender our hearts and our lives to be healed, changed, transformed and used for the glory of Jesus and the redemption of men.
