Today we had the opportunity to do something both beautiful and biblical, sending out our dear friend Arne Mathingsdal into the next steps that the Holy Spirit has ordered for him. In doing this we began our discussion of being “kingdom-minded”. Every kingdom reflects the heart of it’s king, as citizens of the Kingdom of God we cannot operate, increase or even understand God’s kingdom apart from learning His heart and His character. Today, in asking the question “What kind of king is this?” we learn that God is a king who sends. He sent His Son, sent His Spirit and now sends His adopted children. Isaiah had an incredible experience with God, He was ushered into the throneroom of our Father and when he arrived he found out that He was brought there for one reason, so that God could ask “Whom shall I send and who will go for Us?” An important truth we must learn is that we are brought into God’s presence so that we can be sent out for His purpose.
