On Friday, December 2nd we will be having our Generations Women’s Fellowship starting at 7pm at Rose of Sharon Christian bookstore, 315 High St in Burlington (use the rear entrance which is accessible from the public parking lot in the back). Come and bring a friend or two for a night of connecting, laughing, learning and praying! We want to help bridge the gap of generations and create a safe place for women 18 and over to come together to share our hearts and help one another based on prayer and God’s Word and build relationships to encourage and “mutually mentor” each other.

Our guest speaker this month is Melissa Falk. Melissa has spent the last 20 years preaching in churches, pastoring congregations, learning about new cultures, teaching in higher education, and serving communities through social service. She gets excited when sharing conversations about Jesus with those unfamiliar with Him and those who have walked with Him for a long time; her passion is to help people find their identity and purpose in the Lord and then encourage them to pursue it whole-heartedly. She has lived in NYC, Virginia, and Connecticut and has recently returned to her roots in the mountains of Pennsylvania. These days you will find her preaching for various churches and ministries and consulting with Christian colleges and universities

We will have a hot chocolate bar with delicious fixings! Our Community Outreach is to take part in the Sisterhood’s Christmas toy giveaway to local families so we will have a “Giving Tree” on Friday night with the age/sex of kids who are in need of gifts, you can take as many tags as you are willing to purchase a gift for and we will be collecting unwrapped toys for these kids all between 1-13 years old the week before Christmas! Please spread the word and bring a friend!
