“Confess Your Sins to One Another,” James 5:13-16

How do we follow Jesus so closely that we look like him to the people who don’t yet believe in him? That’s the amazing thing that happened in Acts 4:13. It is not like looking in a room full of other believers and saying, “I see Jesus in you, in you and in you.” These were people who have killed Jesus, who denied Jesus, who were fighting against Jesus, and what did they recognize about Peter and John? They’ve been with Jesus. When people who don’t believe can see the truth living in you, something different has happened. We become like him rather than just representing or talking about him. How do we follow Jesus so closely that we look like him to people that don’t yet believe in him? We have talked much about what devotion to God’s word, God’s people and God’s presence leads to, but what does it look like? Maybe even more, how do we do it?

In this week’s sermon, Pastor Abie Kulynych begins to answer these questions and move us in action. He starts with “Confess Your Sins to One Another.”
