Giving is often viewed as a difficult topic to talk about in church. I believe that this is a wrong viewpoint. Giving is of the utmost importance. Our most quoted verse, John 3:16, tells us that “God so loved the world that He gave . . .” Today we are learning: 1. Giving must be motivated by love 2. Giving will reveal and increase trust and 3. Giving requires a sacrifice and reaps a reward.
I pray that we will be givers of all that God has given us. To be like Christ is to give freely of that which has been received freely.
