This coming Sunday, March 22nd, in our 10:00 service we will be doing something we have not done before, we will be gathering together to hae a conversation focused on the Scriptures. This week we are all reading Isaiah 52:13-15 and Isaiah 53 together. We are being encouraged to read the passage each day, to pray through it, study it and to ask God to reveal more of His character, His ways, His promises and the response He desires from us. A discussion guide was given out at yesterday’s service, if you would like a copy please email [email protected]. Next Sunday we will gather to talk with each other about what God has revealed, to encourage each other in the Word, to build strength, instill courage and work to fulfill the calling of Deuteronomy 6:7 “You shall teach them (the commands of God) diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.” Please be praying that this time will be rich in our growth in valuing God’s Word and allowing His Word to function in our lives according to His purpose.
