“The We of Wealth: Living in Awe of God even as We’re Having Feelings of Want,” Acts 2:43

Last week we started talking about “The We of Wealth.” How the church of Jerusalem was described to be all together, as having everything in common, that they were of one heart and of one mind, that they valued each other not only more than they valued themselves, but actually valued each other more than they valued anything else. Their wealth was in what they accumulated, but in who they shared their lives with. It was not in what they gained, but who God had given.

In this week’s sermon, Pastor Abie Kulynych continues to look at the description of the church in Jerusalem from Acts 2 and 4 and takes another step in this direction by seeing how the church valued everything that God had done.
