When it comes to risk value is the key. Is what may be gained more valuable to us than what may be lost? Romans 5 makes our value to God very clear, “While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” If we will be very honest we will realize that we hold no risk in our walk with God, He has already assumed it all. God did not wait for us to be worthy, He did not wait for us to call on Him, He did not wait for us to want t be loved; He sent His Son to die, He longed and reached for us, He loved us with an everlasting love while we were still His enemies.

Each one of us has the opportunity to make a difference in eternity today. We have the opportunity to step out in faith and obedience and see God at work. Let’s stop worrying about what God’s will might cost and concentrate on the price that God has already paid. Let’s stop looking for blessings and begin believing that we have already been blessed and let’s stop fearing for this life and live boldly for the life of Christ that is within us.

I have come to the realization that in Christ there is no risk, there is only abundance, fulfillment and the reality of being loved with an everlasting lasting love. Today I want to make Jesus’ sacrifice worthwhile, I want to walk worthy of this High calling and I want to treasure Jesus to the same magnitude that He has treasured me.
