CORF UPDATE #22 | JULY 31

“But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body. So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.” 2 Corinthians 4: 7-12

As we’re starting our weekend, we may be tempted to look back at a busy week and all the events still taking place locally and nationally and see nothing but despair and a sense of loss. Here is a good reminder for us that even when things are as bad as we can see them, God is still in us and preserving us for his glory. Why don’t we spend this weekend focusing on what “we’re not.” Let this passage encourage you as you watch this week’s video update from Pastor Abie Kulynych.

Also, please take the time to watch the video from earlier this week about the latest Philippines update showing how God has been using the gifts that we’ve consistently been sending. May this be a reminder for us to keep praying and to continue giving so that God can glorify his name in the midst of our brothers and sisters in the Philippines. and in our lives.

We love and thank you for your faithfulness.
