There will be a Night Watch prayer gathering on Friday February 24th beginning at 11:00 PM and going until 6:00 AM Saturday the 25th. This gathering will be at First Christian Assembly, 1105 High Street Burlington, NJ 08016. “Going Deeper into the Love of the Father” Conference with Trevor and Linda Galpin, March 9-10

Trevor and Linda Galpin from Fatherheart Ministries in New Zealand will be with us again on Friday March 9th and Saturday March 10th. This two day conference that has been themed “Going Deeper into the Love of the Father” will be a continuation of the teaching that God used Trevor to share with us in December. The two day event will begin with a session on Friday night at 7:00 and then two sessions on Saturday morning and early afternoon with lunch served in between. There is no charge for this event but an offering will be taken. This event will be held at First Christian Assembly, 1105 High Street, Burlington, NJ 08016. City of Refuge Is Moving

We are entering into a period of transition as we prepare to move to a new facility for our day to day operations and outreach ministries. We will be leaving 18 East Broad Street as of 1/31. We will have a temporary office but will not be functioning with day to day offerings of clothing and so forth. Please check back to the website for an announcement of our new address and the timing of that move, we hope to have news to share by the end of February. Hope Mobile Food Distribution, Saturday, January 21st, 10:30 AM at Wilbur Watts Intermediate School

We are very excited to be able to be a sponsoring agency to bring a new program to Burlington from the Food Bank of South Jersey. The Hope Mobile is a 48 foot tractor trailer that brings emergency food to communities. The distribution contains meat, pasta, rice and canned goods that can provide 3 meals a day for up to 4 days. The food is completely free of any charge but registration is required. Please call the church office to register or bring with you a form of identification and proof of income or state assistance on the day of the food distribution.

The distribution will be at Wilbur Watts Intermediate School, 550 High Street, Burlington, NJ from 10:30 until the food is gone, all distribution is done on a first come first served basis. If you have any questions or would like to register please call our office at 609-531-0816

Sunday, January 1st New Year’s Day Service

This Sunday we will be hitting the new ground of 2012 running! We will be finishing our 2012 Harvest series by taking one last look at the invitations to join God as partners in justice, in intercession and in harvest. In addition to finishing this sermon series we will be starting a new weekly prayer focus, a new reading plan to take us through the entire Bible in the course of the year and an announcement of an addition to our monthly House of Prayer schedule.

We invite you to come out and join us as we begin the new year in worship, prayer, the Word of God and fellowship with each other. The harvest is plentiful, the work is great, the invitation has been given and the opportunity is full; may we join with God, with each other and with all of the Body of Christ to pray and see His Kingdom come and His will done on earth, in Burlington, as it is in heaven!

2012 Bible Reading Plan

In 2012 we will again join together in a corporate reading plan. This year we will be reading through the Bible together using a one year plan from The One Year Bible Online. Each day we will have a reading from the Old Testament, New Testament, Psalms and Proverbs. We will also have hard copies of the reading plan available at church on Sunday. I encourage you to make a commitment to read through the Bible this year, doing this together as a body will allow us to study, pray and grow together in and through the power of God’s Word.

The book of Romans, Wednesday December 28th, 7:00 PM

Join us a we study the book of Romans throughout 2011. We will be meeting every other Wednesday night to study this important New Testament letter verse by verse. Our next class will cover Romans 13 and will meet on Wednesday, December 28th from 7:00 PM -8:30 PM at 18 East Broad Street, Burlington, NJ 08016. Christmas Caroling, Friday December 23rd, 7:00 PM

Please join us in sharing God’s love and hope by singing Christmas carols on the streets in Burlington City on Friday evening, December 23rd. We will be meeting at the Kulynych’s home, 945 Bordentown Rd. at 7:00 PM. All ages are invited to join. We will have hot chocolate and snacks after caroling back at the Kulynych’s home. House of Prayer, Friday December 9th 7:00 PM

God has given us a vision for the planting of a House of Prayer in Burlington City, a place where worship and prayer would never cease and where God would be constantly glorified for His greatness, His beauty and His great love. The House of Prayer is not a place for needs to be poured out but rather a place for God to be glorified and for His voice to be allowed to lead, guide and purpose within us His plans, desires and purpose for our community and our lives.

We eagerly anticipate coming together in this new facet of His plan and though we don’t know exactly what this will look like, we are trusting that if we walk in obedience and allow the Holy Spirit to lead us, it will become exactly what He has promised and planned for this city. We are asking, as we take these new steps of obedience, that you join us for this one night out of the month, the 2nd Friday of every month, to experience together God’s presence, and His voice as we sit at His feet and recount His goodness and His grace and remind Him who needs no reminding of all of the promises that He has spoken over Burlington City. Our desire is to stand in agreement with all that God has promised, as individuals, as a church and as a City, and we believe the House of Prayer signals in the Spirit our agreement to be obedient and faithful to all of God’s plans and promises.
